There are many sensors on the typical modern automobile. In addition to an "air temperature sensor" in your fresh air intake ductwork, you have a "coolant temperature sensor". It tells your computer how cold or hot your engine is. What if the coolant sensor told your computer that your engine was cold when it was really hot? You need a competent shop technician to attach a scanner to your OBD-II diagnostic system and see if your air/ fuel ratio is proper for each engine operating condition.
