May I just answer that the only metals I find safe for my skin are gold and silver .... other metals make me break out in a rash ..

Gold and platinum are both almost inert - as well as surgical steel and a few others.
Lithium, calcium and sodium would be REALLY bad choices for jewellery unless you wanted to singe people - they burn / catch fire when exposed to moisture.
