my stomach is hard on the top, and is starting to get hard on the bottom, it depends on your body type as well. But i also have a tipped uterus. (and i don't know much about that...still researching it) but your body is going to be pushing everything around and up if ya know what i mean, so yeah your tummy will prolly get hard on top. Depending on how far along you are. there is a site you can go to and if you go to their pregnancy calander then you can click how many weeks you are and it will tell you what should be going on with your body right now. and what is going on with your baby! you should check it out, especailly if this is your first child. you can also if you have myspace add them, there are alot of pregnant women on there who can help you tell you what exactly is going on with your body and they are all there for you for everything i know from experience! if you want you can add me to myspace, then are on my top friends...

Depends where the baby is laying, Mine is sometimes really hard on top, and then its soft and its really hard towards the bottom, so it all depends on where and how the baby is positioned, when you get farther along, your tummy gets hard all over LOL no matter what!!!

Actually my stomach got bigger toward the top where it looked weird. But I am also on the bigger side, not obese, just not thin. My doctor said that every belly looks different based on personal body type.

your stomach gets hard on the top later on in pregnancy when your uteris is bigger. if your wondering if your pregnant and could be just a couple weeks then your lower stomach will start to get hard.

yes it gets harder then before pregnancy, especially as you get further along and the baby grows bigger..you have a baby under your skin so it is bound to bulge and get harder...also the baby will move and make funny shapes it is so much fun and a wonderful experience to watch...God bless you and your child

Not until the end of your pregnancy, so if you are looking at this as a symptom that would not be one.
