I'm almost 36wks pregnant, my baby is engaged, and over the last day or so i have developed a pain throughout my pubic area. It aches! Not a sharp pain but definately a discomfit which is on the verge of pain (if that makes any sense at all? lol).
Is this pregnancy related or is it something completed unrelated? I haven't done anything that could explain the pain and it has only just developed ... anyone at all know whats happening with me?

I am almost sure it's pregnancy related. As you get ready to give birth, the baby is shifting and getting into position and your ligaments are softening in preparation for the birth. You'll probably feel all kinds of weird twinges and aches now. Just to be certain and give you peace of mind, call your doctor's office and ask the nurses.

I think it's just spasm in the muscles down there. I had the same thing and my doctor told me not to worry, it's pretty common. However if it's much too painful to bear I would call the doc. just to make sure.

that is a very normal pregnancy pain. your hips and pelvis are separating to allow more room for baby to pass and unfortunately it can cause discomfort and for some women alot of pain.

more than likely pregnancy related. a friend of mine had that problem.
