I want to grill a sea lion nose but I'm scared it will start dribbling on the coals. What Do I Do?

Preheat your oven to 600 degrees, take the sea lion nose and put it in a pan with a little bit of water, then sprinkle all your flavors and seasonings onto it. When the oven is ready cook for 3 hours, turning the noses on the hour to make sure they are cooked nice and evenly. Also, for a side that is tasty with the sea lion noses you can try cow tails and horse hooves. (This way is good because then you don't have to worry about the dribbling on the coals!) ;-)

Grilled is fine. I enjoy mine battered and pan fried.
Just allow about 2 1/2 noses per person.

I find if you leave it in a snow bank until you're ready to cook, which should keep it frozen and then sear the outside it doesn't drip as much and you retain all the natural juices. Mmmmmmm. Bon apetite!
