I am not sure but that sounds like somthing that they would not let you do.

No. But doing it interferes with the goalkeeper and that would be a foul. Or you wiil be called for being offside if a shot is taken and being on the goal line, all the defender have to do is move up.

But why would you wanna do that?

Yeah. I was playing a college game, and I only hit the bar with my arm and the ref blew up against us. It was absolutely ridiculous!

Yes, and any player doping it would also likely get a red card for a "professional foul" .
