It does exist...in the mind. It does not however mean that it exists on a physical level. If you can conceive of something in your mind it exists as a thought.

From where did you get your info? You may be working with faulty information.
Religion is and historically has been the most destructive man-made force to influence the planet. More people have died in the name of religion than any other reason on the face of the earth.
Religion, to the best of my knowlege, is the mangling of faith for the benefit of the few and at the cost of the very many.
If, as is said, God is omnipotent, omniscient and everywhere, it is hard to understand (for me) why He needs money, buildings, translators or wars fought in His name. Since (if) God made everything, if He needs something or wants something, He can make it for Himself.
God gave us free will. All He wants from us is to choose to honor Him by respecting His work by loving each other. Find sacred in the ordinary and joy in a small task. Respect the body in which you live, the place where your body lives and the other people and things He created.
Behave. Play nicely. Don't waste. Put things away when you are done with them. Don't fight. Live happy. Be polite. Be fair. Be honest. Give your best all the time. Say "Thank you" for what you have. Respect your elders. Be kind to people smaller than you. Success is happiness. Joy is being real.

If it can be concieved, that does not mean it exists. It means it perhaps has the possibility to exist. Just because you think of something, that doesn't make it a reality. Action of some kind is needed to make something real. And until the act of creation is fulfilled, the conception is only an idea, unless someone else has already created it.

I ate some cookies, but now they are gone. They once existed, but I have no proof they existed. Where is the madness and insanity? I have no earthly idea.
