My daughter is submitting a short story for a library competition. Her tutor capitalized the first two games. I took out the capitalizations. Wikipedia doesn't capitalize "tug of war" in its article, but does if it is a specific tug of war club.

To me the names of the games are sort of like the names of classes, like history class. But, I'm not strong when it comes to grammar.

So I'd like to hear your opinion.

No capitalization, they're neither persons, places, nor things.
