There is a certain kind of polish you can buy at a drugstore. It's clear, and you can paint it on your nails. That way, whenever you bite them, it will taste bad so that you know not to do it again. You can also do something whenever you bite your nails, like snap a rubber band on your wrist. The pain won't make you want to do it again. You could also get your nails done. It looks pretty so you won't want to bite your nails. Eventually you will break the habit.

I was the same way. When I was 42 I went to a nail place and had acrylic nails applied. I got them "filled" every 2 to 3 weeks for 10 years and I was very proud of my beautiful nails. Most of the time I had a french manicure done to show them off. I stopped biting my nails when I got the acrylics. It's about $25 to have them applied and I think it's more than worth it. I stopped because I moved and have some health problem, not related to my nails, but I need every cent i can get together to cover my medications. I hope this helps.

I bit my nails since I was 3. I have tried everything. I started using nail biter formula and it tastes discusting and I also got acrylic nails put on and put the nail biter stuff over top of them. That cured me. I have nice long nails now that I got the acrylics taken off and I have no urge to bite them. It took about three months to get nice long nails. I think that is what cured me. GOOD LUCK!! I know for a fact it can be hard. I tried for years.

My sister was a nail biter, and mom got her some clear, really bad tasting polish that would make her stop biting. I don't know where they sell stuff like that, but you may want to search the web. Good Luck!

Put a nail polish on your nails that makes your nails look pretty. Maybe you will be like oh my goodness I dont wanna get my nailpolish off so I will not bite my nails or you can get a maincure then that will probably stop you.

I have the same problem I paint my nails so if I bite them I stop because it tastes horrible. If that doesn't work put some nail polish remover on them so they taste bad and you'll be discouraged from biting them.

They make bad tasting stuff you can put on your nails to discourage you from biting them (applied like nailpolish). I imagine you can get it at any beauty supply store or maybe even Walgreens/CVS.
I knew a girl who used the stuff and it helped her a lot.

get your nails done at a salon a few times and you will break the habit, that's the only way i did. They look so good you wont want to mess them up and you just eventually get used to not biting them. I have tried painting them and all i do is pick the paint off lol. gross habit but its how i broke myself.

They sell nail polish that helps you stop biting your nails. The only problem is thaty ou have to remember to put it on daily. It tastes horrible and it reminds you every time you stick your finger in your mouth not to do it.

I had a friend that used to bite her nails. She wore gloves that covered her nails and then, she couldn't bite them. I had another friend that bought bad tasting nail polish that was clear that kept her from biting, tape also works.
