Is it common to enjoy m*st*b*tion more-so than the real thing? Not that I never liked it but I get more satisfaction this way.My friend said she don't hardly ever do this & never really helped her.She thinks I'm weird!LOL :)

Maybe you've just never been with a lover that pleased you as much as you've learned to please yourself. Try talking to your lover and telling them what you want, that will help, plus talking in bed is a very big turn on to a lot of people.

Someone once said, "Mast*ion is the sincerest form of flattery. It is the only kind of sex where the attention given equals the attention received."
You know your own body better than anyone else can.
For me, it is comparing apples and oranges. If I am going purely by the height and breadth of the orgasm, then sex with other is not going to compare, nor be as easy to regulate. However, there are so many other benefits to sex with others that I prefer it. Still, in a pinch . . . . :o)

Who knows your body better than you? You can hit all the right spots, right when you want to hit them, as fast or as slowly as you want to go, no inhibitions, just you. There's nothing wrong with it. Of course, there's nothing like the real thing. But, alone can be awesome too. Maybe your friend needs to just relax a little and she'll change her mind.

in my opinion-you need to talk to your partner and teach your partner what you need to be satisfied. NO 2 people are exactly the same-it takes time to learn what "does it" for your partner and for your partner to learn what you need.
taking care of your self is easy-but the intimacy and beauty of mutual satisfaction with your mate cannot be compared-and when you find it .....WOW is all you can say when you come back to earth.
it isn't easy but nothing worthwhile ever is...

Masturbation is pretty direct and no-nonsense, just what you want, when and where you want it. There's spontaneity with a partner and lack of control. They each have their appeal. Lots of people prefer doing it themselves since they don't have to show anyone what they want. Normal, common or otherwise.

It could signify something serious, like a psycological problem, or it could be a trust issue, or it could be nothing at all. If you want to check it out, talk to a doctor or a therapist.

Yes it's common because most people know how to pleasure themselves more than a partner knows how to. You're friend is sooo lying!! :)

Dr Ruth Westhimer says that it is natural and that it's nothing to worry about. BUT DON'T injure yourself.
