C: Jorge Posada

Well, even if he is getting a little older and missing balls quite often, he is still a great catcher, I'm not saying the BEST, but can get the job done.

1B: David Ortiz

Well, it's Big Papi everyone. Mr Clutch and one of the biggest power hitters in the MLB, expect him to hit 50+ HR's this year.

2B: Josh Barfield

Ouch.

3B: Aramis Ramirez

Not the BEST 3rd baseman but a good one and he can put up some great numbers at times. Hey at least he's a better 3Bman than A-Rod.

SS: Hanley Ramirez

2006 NL Rookie of the Year

OF: Manny Ramirez

Good outfielder and can put up 30+ HR's a year and some great numbers at times.

OF: Gary Sheffield

So what if he's gotten older and moved to a larger stadium? Still expect power homers from this dude right here.

OF: Brad Hawpe

Ouch.

Util: Paul Konerko

Ehhh.

WAY TOO EMBARRASSED TO NAME MY BENCH!!!

SPs: D-Mat and Andy Pettitte
Other Pitchers: Eric Gagne, D-Train, Wainwright,Brian Fuentes

Actually, your biggest problem you need to address is steals. You don't have ANY.

Hitting: Power is really good. I think you'll actually be happy with Hawpe by year end. He's a good hitter in Colorado. Ortiz and Manny is an incredible 1-2 for power. Keep an eye on Hanley as he could very well regress some this year. You may want to back that position up to be safe. Also, look at some other 2B candidates.

Pitching: I like D-Train's chances at a bounceback. Matsuzaka was probably someone you drafted too high, but he should be fine. Pettitte will have an increase in ERA and WHIP form the move to the AL, but should get more wins too. Your closers aren't terrible, but keep an eye on the waiver wire. They are not too hard to find mid season.

All in all, I see this team as middle of the road at best. Gave up too much in other stats to get the power hitters, and you lack a true ace pitcher on your staff. Play the wire well mid season and you can get up tehre some, though. Closers in particular are always turning over. Maybe pick up a Bob Howry or Mike Gonzalez in anticipation of their gaining the closer role at some point.

Try to find some cheap speed, too. Maybe a Dave Roberts or even a Chris Burke. Ryan Freel may be cheap, but 35-40 steals may make him a little pricier than the others.

On the trade front, try to see what you can get for Sheff. You can mortgage the power for more speed. And, his name is more valuable than his actual production, so you may be able to use that to your advantage.

Good luck!

Additions after looking at your team: Good job getting Gonzalez. Take a look at Broxton as well. Saito will not keep the closer job in LA all season, and Broxton is their closer of the future. I also like Adrian Gonzalez. His numbers last year were very solid. See if you can nab Freddy Garcia, too. I have a good feeling that his move to the NL will do wonders for him (like Aaron Harang last year).

Last tip...keep an eye on Alex Gordon. That guy has monster (like Pujols level) talent, and could have a solid impact this year. He's slated as the KC starting 3B. Adds a little speed as well, which, as we have covered, you need. BJ Upton as a SB sleeper is interesting, too.

Ur pitching is approximately 7. Dan Haren and brad penny are superb mutually as Bobby Jenks is a competent closer and Bronon Arroyois gonna be extra effectual. Pedro would be healthful yet I dont think of Perez could have a competent serason, yet Blanton ought to. Accardo is standard. Ivan Rodriguez has stable protection, yet his offense hasnt been very stable the previous couple of seasons so dont excpect many factors from him/ I wouldnt excpect Pena to have the comparable 3 hundred and sixty 5 days he had final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days so no longer as plenty factors as final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Cano is stable and consistently would be. comparable with A-Rod. I wouldnt excpect a great 3 hundred and sixty 5 days from Cabrera the two, yet i might nevertheless choose him as a starter over Hudson. Carlos Lee and Ichiro could have stable years next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Aaron Rowand might have a extra effectual 3 hundred and sixty 5 days than he did final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet no longer as many RBI's. Ellsburry will might desire to coach himself, Hudson would be stable incase Cano gets injured. LaRoche is an standard participant besides is Cameron. So with that assessment, I supply you HITTERS: 8 BENCH: 6.5 PITCHERS: 7 common: 7.5
