Depends on how old you are and what else is going on in your lives. It never hurts to wait though. If you really love each other waiting is no problem. It's easy to get married, difficult to stay married and hard to get unmarried so what's the rush?

It's good that you already live together because that is a good first step. I don't know your situation so i can't give you the best answer. there alot of things that you should consider.
1. Age: are you both old enough to have started working on your careers. If not then you shouldn't get married because things will change drastically when you have careers to focus on.
2. Committment: do you think that you can accept the things about him that may seem strange or negative? You will have to do so for the rest of your life so if they are big deals to you then you shouldn't get married. Can he accept the negative things about you?
3. Truthfulness: Have you talked about experience or have you hid things that you think will upset him?
4. Trust: Are you possessive or jealous. If so then you shouldn't get married until you are over that.
There are lost of things to consider. After you have thought things out you will have an answer. Don't let other people's thought make the decision for you.

It is always better to wait...its only been a year i would wait another year at the least...I mean you guys can act like you are married and do everything as if you were but it is better to be safe than sorry...Remember that marriage means till death...are you sure you are ready for that commitment! Also...2/3 marriages end up in divorce...especially young marriages...so just let time go by a little and then see what happens!

Slow down there little girl. You should only get married if you are both financially stable enough to get married and after you have done some growing up. You didnt mention your age, but getting married at too young of an age will bring you trouble down the road. Don't be in a rush and marriage is not to be taken lightly. It is a lifelong committment.

It doesn't matter how long you wait to get marry what matters is how much you guys love each other and if you guys are ready i believe that if you think that you and your boyfriend are ready go for it it doesn't really matter what people say what matters are your feelings for this guy.

Marriage is a give and take, you take the good with the bad! When things are rough, you just can't walk out, like you can when you are single. And whatever you have is his and whatever he has is yours. It's a sharing and caring! Just remember to stick to your marriage vows! If you are ready to have a lifetime commitment, then you are ready for marriage! By the way, I was married to my husband for 52 years, until he died!

You better make for darn sure this is what you two want. Marriage is a LIFE long commitment and should be taken seriously. I suggest not rushing things. Take a little more time to get to know one another.

If you love each other and you have no doubts about it - then go for it! But, I definetly recommend premarital counseling first. It'll bring up issues you might not have thought were important and just gives you more reassurance.
