You are best to wait at least 10 days as you are extremely unlikly to get a true result after just 2 days.

It takes at least 10 days for implantation and enough hormones to get a positive on a test, and in many women 10 days is still too early.

Try after 10 days, if negative try again 4 days later.

You would not get a positive result on a pregnancy test until 10 days past sex at the very earliest. It may take longer if you are unsure when she was ovulating.

It takes a day or so for the sperm to get to the egg, then it takes 6-8 days for the embryo to grow enough to dig into the uterine lining. Then it takes another 2-4 days for the embryo to grow some more and produce enough of the hormone (hcg) that a pregnancy test can detect. There would be no possible way to detect hcg in her urine before this point. So it would be a waste of money to test now.

Wait at least ten days, then get an early detection test (First Response Early) to make sure it is accurate.

No, the hormones in the body are not strong enough after only 2 days after sex. It will be best to wait till at least one week before her period.

If that comes up negative try again if she misses her period.

and if she just had a period 5 weeks ago, she has already missed a period, so actually she might already be pregnant and the testing would be successful.

A pregnancy test will not work that early. You have to wait until a missed period otherwise they do not work. You can buy and use as many tests as you like before that, but it will be a complete waste of money because can will say negative even if she is pregnant.

A first response has a 64% chance of being accurate 5 days b/f expected period. and then the chances go up every day closer to the period date. I used First Response with my first pregnancy. But only got a + result the day b/f my expected period. U need to wait.

You can take a test about a week before you're period. It won't work any sooner. You're cycle can be thrown off for many reasons. Examples- sex, stress, changes in lifestyle, medical issues. Wait until cycle date ends then try.

A pregnancy test is useless until she has actually missed a period. Even if she is preggo, the levels of hormones needed for an accurate test are too low.

you could go get a test but it does not mean that she is pregnent only because her body might not have made the hormon to let the test know that she pregnent or not. but if she goes and gets a blood test then that would be able to her sooner then the pregnent test will.

you will just have to wait, nothing will show up until she has missed a period, did you have sex when she was ovulating? If you did then theres a good chance that she is pregnant but if she wasnt ovulating (or close to it) then she wont be.
