So the true meaning of Easter is to use your brother as a bad example against your own children? You did a good thing of course. No one should cause dissension in another person's home. The only way to prevent more disputes of course, is to establish some ground rules with your sister. Let her know privately how you could have gone up one side of her and down the other for being such a horrible example of her own belief system, and that she should be a bit more gracious (more like her spiritual mentor perhaps) if she would like to continue to avoid becoming the bad example she tried to make you into. If she refuses, your only other alternative would be to avoid gatherings where she is in attendance, or to actually prepare for the next confrontation and gently, lovingly, give her the definition of the word hypocrite and then show her her picture beside the print! I believe the phrase "Judge not lest ye be judged" applies nicely as well as the lovely verse about getting the log out of one's own eye before commenting about the speck in another's! You will have to look up the chapter and verse. I don't do chapter and verse. Best of luck no matter what you decide and of course at the end of the day, your only real alternative is to forgive her. It's more than she is likely to do for you and somebody has to begin setting the example here I suppose!

It's pretty much normal to feel that way, I hardly slept at all the last few weeks, my back hurt constantly. You're emotional enough allready being pregnant plus the not sleeping is bound to make it worse. Just try to think of how soon your baby will be here and forget everything else. (Easier said than done I know.)

Hormones, hormones and more hormones!! Welcome to the last phase of pregnancy!! If you are having problems sleeping, try taking a unisom before bed. It's safe for pregnancy and will help you sleep some. Sudafed may also help. Try a nice warm bath before bed too. Do you sleep with a few pillows? I use one between my legs, one under my belly, and one at my back. It really helps. By the end, I usually end up in the recliner anyway. That's the only way I get any sleep!! Good luck you are getting close!!!

I am 40 weeks today and deffinatly felt those feelings at 38 weeks!!
I have cried about some very silly things . And I still get very little sleep. But my doctor said it was ok for me to take some tylenol PM and it helped a lot. I was so exhausted from not getting any sleep and you really need your rest.

Yea hun it means your pregnant. I am due on saturday and I was feeling the same way. I was told by my midwife that since you are already full term, if you are having problems sleeping, take a hot bath with lavender bubble bath or some other relaxation thing, and if you are sick take a gravol and go to sleep. On the gravol package it says do not take when you are pregnant but since you are full term its not going to cause any problems.

Hope this helps you!

It sounds like you could be nervous or worried about your pregnancy especially since your due in at least 2 weeks and it has gotten to the point its affecting your sleep.

Try to relax as much as possible and to get rest before you're due. You have made it this far and just think your lil bundle of blessing will be in this world really soon.

Good Luck

it is common to get emotional the closer you get to your due date... and be uncomfortable! i was HORRIBLE for about 2 weeks before i went into labor. and since i couldn't get comfortable, no matter what i did, i couldn't sleep, plus i was a wreck about the lil ones coming!! so this is normal... but at 37 weeks you are considered full term, so it could be anytime now. just look for these signs of labor, or that it is getting close:
the baby drops (pelvic pressure), more frequent and intense braxton hicks contractions, pass your mucus plug or notice bloody show, water breaking, vaginal discharge, nesting instinct (emotional sign, where you just have the maternal instinct, and sudden burst of engergy to prepare for the arrival of your baby), diarrhea....

good luck!!! the day is comin very soon!!
