Pretty good, since the Senate just shot it down on a 50 to 48 vote. Hey wait, how did that happen, I thought the Dems controlled the Senate. Guess not everyone in walking in lock step after all.

It actually didn't pass the House. It passed the House subcommittee, it now goes into the House for debate and to be voted on. Regardless, it will get stuck in the Senate or be vetoed, but every time Bush vetoes the Dems plans or the Republicans in the Senate blocks them, they are adding another nail to the coffin. This legislation will not pass, but will make the Republicans go on record as voting against legislation that could end a war that Americans are not happy with. Uh, I hate to tell you chef, but it is binding.

I served two tours of duty in Viet Nam under two Presidents. The Democratic Congress at the time cut off the funding for the troops then, we left Viet Nam in the lurch and it led to the wholesale murder of millions in Cambodia and Viet Nam. When history repeats its self what will the Democrats do to divert the blame from their policy to everyone but themselves. I believe we will see Iran and Syria interfer with the Iraqi Government and do all they can to bring the middle east under the rule of the Mullahs. Terrorism will then have another base to launch attacks.

AND the plan means exactly what?
It don't mean crapola, at the end of the day, the democrats don't have the walnuts to vote the way they talk.
Democrats don't have the nuts to cut off funding for the troops which is all they can do.
Non Binding resolutions don't mean anything, other than a waste of tax payer money.

Pretty good, because of 2 things.
1. Since its has to goto the senate in order to become law and they don't have 60 votes.
2. Since the Democrats won't try to defund the war 'cause they will get waxed in the '08 elections.

I feel good. I feel like a veto is coming up. The Dems' strategy is one of failure, they try this, no it won't work, but still waste time with it so they can say "I told ya so!"
Worst people in the world, worse than terrorists because they practice a cold terrorism.
