Garterbelt and stockings are best, then thi-highs. Pantyhose are for old women trying to hide the celulite. Who wants to go around with full breif pantyhose all day, they went out in the 90's.

Well, from a guy perspective, I love women's legs.
Pantyhose is fine, but knowing or finding out a date is in thigh highs or garter belt is wonderful. Like giving a peek, a tease. There is nothing more sensual than the wind blowing up a skirt a little bit and seeing a little flesh above the stocking tops.
I know that's very guy of me, but I love it.
I have been lucky to have several g/f who enjoy wearing thigh hi stockings. One girl who is a friend, not a g/f, always wears, and I think she enjoys teasing us with a little thigh.
Guess it's like a girl with a nice top wearing tight clothing, or whatever.
In any event, the answer above was perfect from the lady who wears special outfits on dates

Well you guys never stop asking us about this! I have and wear both styles plus thigh-highs but it depends on what skirt/dress I'm wearing and what I'm going to be doing. I don't really like pantyhose but wear them with short minis. Thigh highs, stockings with elastic tops that stay up on their own are good with anything longer than a mini. I like them but the elastics can like strangle my thighs after a while...to say nothing of the red lines they leave when I undress. I wear a garter belt and stockings anytime I get dressed up or for dates, as long as my skirt is long enough to cover my stocking tops. I do think I'm a little unusual that way, I don't see many other girls getting dressed at the gym putting on stockings and a garter belt LOL.

I wear a lot of pantyhose but I bet stockings and a garterbelt would be more sexy and convenient.

Pantyhose are sexier as they go all the way up. Garter belts are way old fashioned, like manual transmission cars. Thigh highs are the modern version.

I think Bobbi gave the best answer and I feel the same way. Just depends on where you are going and how comfy yoou want to be.
