i dont think sex helps the baby but it deosnt bother the baby.
the rocking motion actually calms them.

Sex doesn't help the baby in anyway. It doesn't bother the baby. The motion can either put a baby to sleep and calm them in the womb or it can wake them and make them really active for a bit. That one gets a little awkward when your trying to make love to your husband and your baby is kicking you from inside....kind of dampers the mood.

Absolutely not....may help you releive some stress though.
the cervix seals off and protects the baby from anything entering the vagina...so the act of sex and having sperm in you will never reach the baby. I have heard that when you about ready to deliver that sex may help induce labor...but I think your cervix has to already be thinning or dialated or something.

not sure if it HELPS the baby, but it definitely doesn't hurt it!!! but i know my sex drive increased during my pregnancy, so i had sex a lot, and my twins were very healthy even tho they were early!! plus women experience longer, more intese orgasms while pregnant, plus usually takes less time to have one :). all due to the increase in the blood flow to the uterus, pelvis, vagina, and clitoris.
so as long as your doctor has said its alright to continue to have sex, then go for it :)

honestly I have no idea...but i do know that if you are past full term it is good for a little love making to happen because it will help induce you labor
