What is considered rushing? 6 months, a year?
I was divorced a year before i met the man iam now going to marry. kids are very resilient (sp) you need to be happy so they can see how a healthy relationships is supposed to work. yes the kids come first, and take it slow and cautious when it comes to them, but ya know what? they grow up and leave the nest and then where are ya??
just make sure you tell the kids you love them and this new step parent will not replace their father and so on...
some people just hate being alone.

No doubt, they love their kids very much... but there are times when kids arent around or sleeping or when there are thoughts for future when the kids would be gone for their own living......then,suddenly a craving for some other companion starts to emerge....You really cant help it....Their relationships are not for fun like teenagers...they have to live a social life too and hey have to attend various gatherings in which they just need to be with someone or they would be left out... Kids should try to understand their problems too...

First of all, I don't think they realize how tough it is on their kids. Their kids are usually very important to them, but that isn't really what they are thinking about. Coming out of a divorce is really tough, especially if you have been married for a long time and are used to having someone to support you and love you. When all that is gone, and you are not in a relationship, you probably feel lonely and want to find someone else that makes you feel special again.

It is pretty stupid to do so. My ex immediately started dating a guy, which only proved to the kids the reason for the divorce. The kids hated the guy for many reasons, and after 5 years, my ex- finally dumped him. Now the guy has no friends in the world, because everyone knows he is a homewrecker.
I, on the other hand, waited for almost two years to date. I thought I was ready earlier, but I wasn't. Plus, spending time with my kids was much more important, and it definitely strengthened my relationship with them!

This people do this for reason....
They hate that they r alone. They try to replace what they lost with their partner and can't stand the fact that they need help to cop with their failures in live. Some of them think that other people can solve their problems. They think that by F*cking everyone they will fill that void that is in their heart, spirit, mind, and lives.
They r so selfish and can see past that. They blame everyone for what is going wrong in their pathetic life's.
What they need to do is find God so he can show them the way to find them self. By Therapist or councilors.
Some times it is to late CZ they've lost everyone and thing that really care for them including their kids.
I hope I help u out..

Because they are lonely and seek comfort from any place. When in the long run it's not what they need. I don't have kids but I know when I got divorced I went right out to start dating again cause I was lonely and I was trying to make my ex jealous! Very silly and imature if you ask me.. but at the time you are hurt and just want to have that instant fix!

They need a mate. And who says the kids aren't happy and I hate to say this, but you shouldn't always put your kids' happiness ahead of your own. One day your kids will be grown and have lives of their own and you will be old and by yourself.
