HP Deskjet 3930 instalation?

I've been trying to install my printer for a while, (HP Deskjet 3930), but every time it gets close to 50% installed, my computer freezes? Whats wrong and how do I fix it?

You MAY be installing the drivers incorrectly.

SOME printers REQUIRE that you do NOT have the printer turned on or even plugged in BFORE\WHILE installing the drivers.

Check either your Installations\Owner's Manual or check HP's site for EXACT Instructions for installing the drivers
