Who can really relate to this music, it seems like lots of people that listens to rap are in a constant state of fantasy. I like hip hop that unravels my thoughts. Everyone needs money and i guess if the kids are inspired by these rappers they might turn into hard working adults someday.

I don't think teenagers necessarily want to hear all that. It's dictated by what men in corporate boardrooms THINK teenagers want.

They definately don't care about what they need. The music seems like it's just a reflection of the corporate mindset, get money! I can't see it being an inspiration to work hard in an honest career, the music mostly promotes making money illegally.

Parents, encourage your kids to support your local music scene!

you clearly have not listened to enough hip hop. You may have to go back in time. Try listening to Dialted Peoples, Mos Defs new album dropped in Dec. Nas - Hip Hop is dead album is OK (its no illmatic). You might wanna turn off your clear channel radio station and tune out BET/MTV.
