For instance when i was 18 i couldnt stand Kate Bush or Morrissey. Now Im 31 and i think they arent brilliant.

to be more specific, I still love the music i loved, Sonic Youth is still my favorite band. I have just become more open to music I turned my nose up to before.

I can see your point but in my case I've enjoyed most of the same artists I did in my teens.I have come to appreciate some of them better with age.I don't think I'll ever get into Morrissey though LOL.I'm 30....what about Sonic Youth!!!

I started listening to Kate Bush when I was 19 and am still listening to her and have all her music and videos she is amazing. I am 42 now my taste in music hasn't changed.
Kate Bush, Talking Heads/David Byrne are my favourites.

That's interesting. I have found that my tastes have always been very diverse. I like everything from Jazz to rap. Except country. I pretty much hate country music. My tastes in music are still the same.

I'm only 21, but i believe that i'll always love the classics that i love but with everyday music i think people change with the times.

yes, when i was in my teens i only listened to the hair bands-rock, now i listen to hip-hop, rock, and some country.
