It's a steak dinner at an extremely fancy resturant. Should i wear that dress or nice black pants?

If its an extremly fancy restaurant I would wear the dress and opt for a cute heel in a bright color that pops then don't carry a huge bag, get something smaller if your gonna carry one at all like a clutch and not a bulky jacket either or it will over accesorize the dress. Hope this helps.

Steak houses can be, even when extremely fancy, an oddly casual thing. If it's a place that's "all about the beef" -go with the pants. Unless you're talking about a place where your choices are filet mingion (sp?!) or some kind of razberry vinigarette over chicken...or whatever. (which I would think to to with the dress). I say go with the pants.
another way to put it: if the restraunt is French, Italian, or any kind of European, go with the dress. If it's American (south, north or central) go with the pants.
oh and as for the shoes...I'm personally better if I can see them. can't help ya there. sorry :-s

Which ever one you prefer. The pants would look nice with boots, or just high heeled shoes. If they are black pants then go for a dark coloured pair of shoes, unless your top is a lighter colour.
If you are going to wear the dress then wear either strappy shoes or kitten heels.

You can go for subtly and just wear black heels or you can punch it up and wear red heels or silver heels. I think a dress is fine but if you are more comfortable in pants go for it. Have fun.

What is wrong with black shoes?
You could also try on of the following:
Black & White
Red (or any other bold color)
Animal print
Who knows....with shoes these days the possibilities are endless.

I would definitely wear the dress.... with silver accessories.silver heels and a silver clutch purse- simple but elegant
