remove your wireless adapter for the wireless keyboard and insert your wired keyboard into your computer. You may have to restart your computer to regain functionality

Usually wired keyboards are plug n play capable. Turn off the computer, plug it in, and start it up. If you can boot into windows after this, but the keyboard is not functional, go into your control panel (with your mouse), select keyboard, On this window select the "hardware" tab, click on properties, select the "driver" tab, and either update driver, or uninstall the wireless driver depending on which one is present.

Hope this helps.

Just Plug it Straight back in.
A USB style keyboard should be recognised immediately. A PS2 keyboard may need some changes under Control Panel.

Keyboards are plug and play devices typically so shutdown your computer and unplug the wireless connection. Plug in the wired keyboard and turn it on.

Just plug it in and if you are a windows user go to the control panel and click the mouse and keyboard button. Then, you can hit search for new hardware....if you have a mac (the best kind of computer) it will automatically sense it!

Everyone who uses this site can use a computer to some extent.

I would just turn the computer off, plug in the other keyboard and restart it if simply plugging it in doesn't work.

If the wired keyboard is USB, just plug it in. If it is a PS2 style, power off machine, plug in keyboard, power on. You are done.

It should already be programmed to work with one.

Just turn your computer off, plug in the keyboard, and restart it.....that's it.

Works the same way with the mouse.

Just putting it in the USB port should work. Almost all are Plug and Play. And just a note, could you please put the key parts of your question into the main question title from now on. It's very difficult to know what the question will be about then it's "Do not open."

Just plug it in and your computer will recognise it's there. Most up-to-date computers are PNP - plug n play. Meaning all you have to do is plug it in and it will work without needing the technical know-how.
