For consumation of the marriage, yes, sex is mandatory. But no one can make you do anything you don't want to. If you come to an agreement that you will have a sexless marriage, that's you're choice.
So it's not mandatory to have sex in your marriage, but gee, it sure is fun!

I would say intimacy and sexual relations are a necessity in any long term relationship. If you are not into the whole sex thing then maybe you should consider becoming a nun. Sex is one the most pleasurable things a couple has to bond them closer together in marriage now for any reason your asking this because you do not want kids?. Then it is wrong many people have a great sex life and marriage and no kids its called female tubes tied or the guy getting snipped or spending lots of money on birth control products.
Sex doesn't always have to mean intercourse there are many types of sex and of course forplay.
I would say a marriage will end by someone leaving unless you find the one man on earth that doesn't want or need sex
to feel like a man.

A marriage is "consumated" with sex, traditionally on the same night as the wedding. If you never have sex, your marriage can be anulled, which means it is treated like it never happened. (I don't know what you do with the wedding gifts.) So yes, sex is mandatory at least once.
If you are asking if sex is a required part of keeping a marriage together, yes, absolutely. You aren't going to keep your man if you aren't satisfying his sexual needs. And you also aren't going to keep your man if you don't have any sexual needs of your own for him to satisfy.
If you have no sex drive, you may want to speak with a psychologist or sexual therapist. It could be an issue with low self esteem, depression, lack of real interest in your man, a hormonal imbalance .. and likely many other potential reasons. I am neither a psychologist not a sex therapist (though I could be a good instructor).

If one refuses, the other will eventually leave.
Should someone have sex with their spouse when they don't feel like it?
Well-do you have to take out the garbage? Go to work? Drive the kids? Clean the house? Mow the lawn? Cook dinner - all when you don't feel like it?
Most people would prefer to have sex to all those other things. What's the big deal?
If one person wants sex and the other just refuses, the refused can either:
1. Be miserable forever
2. Get it elsewhere
3. Divorce.
None of those seem attractive, correct?

Yes if your married to someone that you love then why wouldn't you want to have sex with them? I think that sex is a big part of one's relationship (after love that is)!!! I know from past experiences that the saying "Put out or get out" is very true!!! Keep your man happy and there will be no reason for failure!

No...but a marriage is usually the place where you can do anything and everything...but if you come to some agreement then I guess not. Nothing is mandatory...a man can still be changred with rape against his wife.

Sex is NOT mandatory for marraige! But, if you're the one holding out and the other wants it, don't be surprised when he/she cheats on you.

No, but you will have a bad relationship without it.
Women can express feelings regularly. Men can't. The way we connect to our spouses is through intimate relationship. This is the number 1 need for most men. We cannot express our feelings to you any other way.
