The liberal democrats are the party of the Hollywood elite and other wealthy supporters. They don't fool me either, they're not for the average person.

I don't think either party is for the average american. How can they be if they are not average? The problem is that an average american cannot win an election, they simply are too poor. You have to be a multimillionaire to even have a shot at getting like 3% of the vote, like Nader. A joke was made that when a miss america is chosen there are 50 choices, when a president is chosen there are 2 choices. Us average americans need representation. I say we vote like they do on american Idol. If you want to be a candidate, have Simon and his crew whittle them down and send them to washington. Once there we can see what they are really all about before texting our votes for president and second place is vice president.

Why are you posing a statement as a question?
However I will say interestingly enough, there was a study where they went through the majority of America's middle class and instead of asking things that were typical "left/right" issues and in a partisan manner (e.g. this or that, black or white) they asked general questions looking for feedback on many different things and included many grey answers to questions.
When they did that they found the majority of Americans are not Right or Left but most are someplace in the middle. Socially American tends to lean liberal, fiscally we tend to be conservative, foreign policy we tent to be in the middle, personal responsibility we tend to be in the middle (although it is arguable that both left and right want to take personal responsibility away from the individual). Ethics and morals tend to lean towards the liberal.
When I say lean, it means like 60% 40% not a huge margin off the middle.
The loss of the GOP in the last election was not a vote for Democrats, and they need to realize it, and not think that there is a mandate from the people for an aggressive liberal agenda. The loss was a vote of no confidence in the GOP, something that they need to take to heart, and stop an aggressive neo-conservative agenda.
So your not alone in feeling disenfranchised by the left, all the same most also feel disenfranchised by the right.
It is time for a strong moderate candidate with slightly liberal leanings, who will not play politics as normal, and end the bi-partisan garbage that is taking over this country.
It seems that the people of the USA are tired of business as usual, big government, over-spending, loss of personal, financial and social rights, were tired of the lies, the cheating, the outright contempt the government has for the people. We want a government that listens to the people again, that is responsive to the issues we care about and not manufacture their own. We want them to be held accountable for their actions and mostly we want them out of our lives, and the lives of the people around the world.
In short the people want change, and that was what the election was all about, not going liberal, but stopping what was happening.

So why hasn't Nobama replaced issues for the midsection classification for the extra effectual? He had a super majority meaning the democrats had a majority in the two the domicile and the Senate besides as having a democrat in the Oval place of work yet issues are going downhill under the democrats!

You're probably smarter than the average person who is told to follow "blue" state or "red" state, conservative or liberal, donkey or elephant.
I think people forget the fact that, realistically, politics are built on lies. And I personally believe that the times will force the gradual disappearance of the middle class.
What do we do with the lack of options, right?

The reason YOU do not support the Left is that you have two well functioning ears, considerable brain matter in the middle, and a good connection between the them.

This is because you are "right" minded. The sad truth of it all is both sides of the political arena has lost touch with the common man. This isn't to slam President Bush, as much as I support him on most issues, but for the most part, they have forgotten the voters of this country.

I just answered a question on my favorite quotes, and didn't get to post these. I feel you, I'm in the same average boat. I'm not heartless when I vote conservative, I'm just trying to make a REAL difference.
A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.
-.George Bernard Shaw
A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man ....which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.

I agree. Ditto. You've pointed out the obvious for all hard working Americans. Liberals need the poor and "average" to rely on the government to take care of them, otherwise they are powerless over us!

No...because you fell for DOGMATIC cliche the Right is feeding. Like we're for smaller government. Work and you can be rich like me. Play by the rules and the system will work for you. You've been duped. Both parties are the flip side of the same coin. Heads, this group will take your money...Tails, that group will pilfer from you.
