Why did cops in NYC search my bag on the subway for NO reason?
I'm just a young girl minding my own business. Its a new rule/law/whatever of random stop and search in subways and buses.
Subway has thousands of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only a handful of entrances is going to stop a terrorist?
Soon the govt will have the right to stop me anytime anywhere to seach my bag for NO APPARENT REASON. I was just WALKING for godsake! What is this..Communist China?
MEANWHILE, MEXICAN AND CANADIAN BORDERS ARE WIDE OPEN!! WHO'S MANNING THE BORDERS

Would you rather have cops search no one's bag? Would you rather have the government not take any action? Would you feel safe? Do you know how long it would take if Cops searched every person at a subway station? If they did, people would have to wait two hours just to take a train and even more people would complain.

Is this an attempt to compare communist China with the US because they searched your bag?. Does the term 9-11 mean
anything to you?, I bet if you're butt got blown up you'd be the first one to scream at the top of your lungs that they didn't do anything to stop it,( provided you survived ). You can't have it both ways, if you want security than you may have to give up a little freedom. I do agree with you about the borders though, there is a secret agenda going on there and we need to find out what it is.

I have no clue why they searched your bag, and although it was uncalled for, think of the country here. What if you were a terrorist and you had a bomb in your purse? Give the govt. a break, I mean really

Maybe they used that as an excuse to look at your beautiful legs,,,no but really, keep one thing in mind, now a days law enforcement can check (and randomly) people about to enter/board public transportation. But back to the legs part, they are nice,,,,,,,
