The only good way to know for certain is x-ray's of your long bones (arm and leg) to see if the ends are done growing. Short of that there is no great way to tell. Most folks finish growing around 18 but it can continue until your in your early twenties somewhat. On the other hand if your young and short a growth chart and looking at the height of your parents will give you an idea of your growth potential and if below this you may need your hormone levels checked.

When you no longer notice any changes in height, otherwise no real way to tell without medical assistance. Guys tend to spring up tall, then their chest and shoulders widen out as they finish up growing. Most growth is rapid from 12-16, after that, depending on the guy and his puberty status, may be done or still growing some more. Easy way is to ask older brothers, dad, uncles, and male cousins to see when they quit growing.
