Unless you are very depressed like to the point of near suicide, I wouldn't use the pills. From my experience they have worse side effects than the depression in the first place.

I would reccomend church groups, they are a fun, safe, and healthy way to better yourself, and make yourself feel better!

Pills for a symptom don't gel with me. Fix the cause!

It could be that your hormones are out of balance. It could be that your body is not coping with the toxins. Many people are not aware of the harmful ingredients in out personal care products like shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen etc. I thought that if it was allowed to be sold in the supermarket then it must be safe - how wrong I was.

My friend had suffered for some years with this until she was able to get her body in order, by getting her hormones balanced and using toxic free products. You may email me for more details at leanne27@aapt.net.au

If you prefer to contact Diana directly I can also give you her email if you wish. Just let me know which you prefer.

They are only meant to take the edge off depression while you are in counseling/therapy. They do NOT get rid of depression or cure it. Only counseling can do that.

if your depression is mild there are many non-pharmaceutical alternatives that would be worth trying first...
counseling
light therapy
acupuncture
exercise
yoga and meditation
dietary changes

remember drugs, though sometimes necessary, are toxic...if you can avoid them please do so...
