coming from a guys prospective i believe that when my wife becomes pregnant she should continue to go to the gym, because we do go to the gym almost everynite. But in no way would i be grossed out or scrutinize her for gaining weight. I just think people feel better about themselves when they stay active, and it would probably be a healthy start for the baby, and a new mother.

He shouldn't be grossed out at all, unless he's a shallow person. My husband has never, ever commented on my after-baby body. When I say how terrible it looks, he says, "honey, you just had a baby." Yeah, 10 months ago! Don't worry about anything. If you nurse your baby, you will lose the weight much quicker. I gained 50 lbs. and have lost 70 since he was born. It will come off. It just takes a little time.

I am almost 37 weeks preggers and I constantly ask my boyfriend if he still thinks I am beautiful. What he tells me is how could I think you are not beautiful, you are carrying the most important thing in the world to me. He also says I am beautiful because he loves me. Then I ask well what about when have some extra weight and stretch marks and he says I love you no matter what and every little stretch mark is just a reminder of the beautiful gift you are giving me.
Yeah he is good with words, but I know what he means. He simply loves me and our baby and nothing is going to change that. Think about it, how can a man who loves you, not appreciate the sacrifices you make for bringing him such joy?

I don't think you are ever going to get a completely honest answer from any man. I just had a baby three months ago, and I am constantly asking my man if he still find me attractive. He says he does, but I doubt it. Why? because as a woman I don't feel the same confidence as I did before I had the baby.

It definitely shouldn't gross a guy out! I dare my husband to critisize my body after giving weight to our son. Fortunately, I don't have a man who would act like that:)
