I am not a fan of Cheyenne. My name is Shaye Ann and I like that but Cheyenne just isn't my style.

Saylor is cute. I love it for a middle name. I am not 100% in love with it as a first name. Depends on the middle name I think. A more traditional middle name would be nice.

Good Luck. SD

Saylor is very different, I have never heard that before for a girl. Cheyenne is quite popular right now.

For either name, it is hard to choose without seeing it with the middle and last names. (I understand the privacy though.)

They both sound pretty, yet Saylor may not be as sophisticated as an adult. Good luck and best wishes....smiles!

If you really MUST inflict either of these trendeigh names on a child, go with Cheyenne. (I do hope Lil' Cheyenne has at least a Native American grandparent, if you're going to name her after a Native American tribe.)

Saylor would be guaranteed to get your kid hopelessly ridiculed, especially as a girl, since there are all kinds of smutty jokes about Navy sailors out there. "Goin' my way, Saylor?" and "She's got a mouth like a Saylor" would be just a few of the less offensive jokes the poor girl would have to put up with.

Those are great names! Cheyenne is a little safer, if a child turned out to be, say 100 pounds overweight or something, names like Saylor or Daisy may not "fit"!
