No but they should. Then we could decide if we wanted to be in the contract for a set time. When the contract is up then decide with you want to renew....sounds good to me!!!

Yes, a marriage license is only valid for a certain time period; in CA, it's 90 days (may be different in other states). You don't "renew" it, you just get a new one. Call the place that issues marriage licenses and ask them your question.

It expries on the day your divorce is final. Automatically renews everytime you celebrate an anniversary

unfortunately they do not expire, but that is a great Idea, they should, you should have to renew every year, and if both parties don't agree to renew their vows, everyone could just go their separate way, that would be great!

yep after 1 year.
on my first anniversary I treated myself to a little tail and that's the day mine ran out.
Its kind of funny the same day my marriage license ran out so did all the money in my bank account, go figure.
No there is no expiry date on marriage it should be forever, unless you cancel it.

No, and that's wrong. It should be renewed every 3yrs. or so. If ya don't renew it, well you are not married anymore.Just like driving.
