When the top contributor label came out, I wasn't impressed and the fact I got one didn't mean anything.
The points don't mean anything. The answers that get voted for best answer don't necessarily mean anything.
I suggested a while back that the orange label was just a bullseye so they could aim a little more effectively.

Indirectly yes...they had no idea what the heck they were doing when they created this stupid orange thing. The developers and programmers have no idea what its really like here. I think they should have to participate on a daily basis for weeks before deciding to change anything. just my opinion...

Let's face it. Just because you are a frequent contributor doesn't mean you are necessarily a quality contributor. Trends change as to who is and who is not in favor here.
