Would my son get his *** kicked in school if I named him Raya Sunshyne? I love that name. Should I stick to naming my girl that? When I have one I mean. Does any one even like the name? Thanks for the feedback

it would be lovely for a girl, but not a boy. Very cute by the way.

Any child, girl or boy, named Raya Sunshyne will get beat into tomato bisque on the playground before the age of ten.

Plus, what if wee "Raya" decides s/he wants to be a goth? What if s/he comes down with clinical depression? This kind of name has a weird self-fulfilling tendency to jinx the bearer into being the exact opposite of the name.

Raya for a girl sounds beautiful but for a boy, I personally wouldn't. I would probably stay away from Sunshyne for both. Although interesting way of spelling it

Have you thought about Rayna for a girl?

Best of luck when it's your time!

This kid would be so embarrassed of his middle name, think of a guy trying to be tough then people finding out his middle name is Sunshyne. Please dont, he will be teased about it forever!!! I dont really like Raya either, save it for a girl, this is the kind of name a girl would love to have, just not a boy!!

Do not name your son that. I like Sunshyne for a girl.

no way for a boy! Cute for a girl. Noone would know her middle name at school, so she wouldnt get made fun of. Raya is a beautiful name. Its on my list if i have a girl. My name is Raychel and people call me Ray or Rayray and my nickname is sunshine :)

Don't name your son that. You may thing it sounds cute now, but what about when he is a 40 year old man. What is essentially naming your son "Ray of Sunshine" isn't going to sound so cute then. Sorry, just my opinion

I think you are out of your mind for thinking of this name for any kid, girl or boy, but absolutely NOT for a boy. Ray of Sunshine? Are you serious??? Why don't you just do something simple for a girl, like Summer, or Sunny, if you must? But, NO NO NO NO for a boy. Do NOT do this to your son.

I don't think that this name suffices for a boys name and I see how a girl could get teased in school with this name. "Ray of Sunshine."
