I was considering buying an Ipod shuffle since I am on a budget currently. I just went to my local best buy to see what they got. I noticed for the price of a shuffle ($80) I could get another brand with 1 Gigbyte of storage. Some of these other brands look like a better deal. Eventhough, I do think the whole Ipod lineup is nice (not knockin' em), I am just thinking that there are just as good options out there??

Thoughts on this?

Thanks.

Visit www.anythingbutipod.com for reviews on every brand of MP3 player...as you can tell by the name, they are kindly anti-ipod.

I have a Sansa e260 and love it. $179 for 4Gig with video.

Trust me... I know your pain. My mom bought me my iPod as a birthday present last year, and I was sooooooo happy when she did. I took it everywhere, but sometimes it was a little too bulky for my petite size.

However, after finding an advertisement for a free iPod Shuffle on MySpace, I started digging. I saw several people that said that the offer was legit, and went to go check it out myself. I am so glad that I did!

I went to the site, and while it took me a while to go through the many pages of survey offers, and choosing the two offers from each offer page, I finally got my little Shuffle!!! Now, I take it everywhere with me. I like to run, and exercise regularly at the gym, so it is usually strapped to me whenever I'm on the go. (I spent maybe $30 on the offers for a $100 Shuffle!)

The Shuffle is overrated, and not worth it, along with the Nano.

I have a 30 gig video iPod, and I love it. It was $250 but WELL worth it.

i think they are overrated. i have one and i love it but just for the fact that it plays music and its cute and small(i have a nano) lol. you could probably get a nice mp3 player thats cheaper with more gigabytes. go to that site that girl told you or just go shopping or something
