If your animal seems to have an itchy bottom it probably has worms.

They usually lick themselves clean,but if your dog is still itchy and trailing along the carpet then he needs wormed.

Usually your animal will lick themselves clean, although the occasional scoot along the floor can help.
If a dog scoots often its usually a sign of worms or anal gland problems!!

Sounds like his anal gland is needing emptied. Try feeding your dog more fibre, it will stop the gland from filling up all the time. Take your dog to the vet to have the gland emptied.

No it's usually a sign they need their anal glands need emptying - although I find my little shih tzus drag their bottoms when they've just had their hair cut. It must itch a bit!

Possibly. To sort this they sit on the floor and shuffle forwards to relieve itchy bum and clear any debris.

If the itch is persistant it sounds to me like worms.You can buy wormer from your pet store,if it still persists take your dog to the vets.
