ok Part one,

Why cant abortion protesters find a better way to protest than having graphic images of an aborted fetus(not baby) and/or their parts on a giant poster board ???

I understand that the truth is harsh and hard but you dont see war protesters using graphic images of dead or dismembered soldiers to get their point across do you ???

Part 2

Due to the above I have had to explaine to my children what those posters are of and why people would use them,

Keep in mind that my kids are at an age where they barely have a concept of what the diffrences in boys and girls are why should I now be forced to explain this issue to minds that are absolutly NOT ready to undestand anything about this issue when its obvious that I made the right choice 2 consecutive times

as wrong as abortion is, its a morel and ethical wrong.
and as far as I know when a so-called democratic government starts dictating your morals and ethics, democracy ends and dictatorship begins

P.S. I am a Combat Veteran with 6 years of service and registerd voter as well. If your think you know the cost of freedom and havent sevred in combat dont bother explianing by posting your rants about what freedom is or what it cost YOU HAVE NO CLUE

Freedom is not free, freedom is won by the barrell of an M-16 A-2, M-203, the M-9 bayonett and 90K pissed off Americans equiped with one of the two.

I think abortion is on of those issues that you are for it or against it, and there is no changing minds about it. There, I stood on my soap box and said my piece. But I also agree with you about the posters, I think this is taking it to far, but the sad truth of it is, these people hide behind the blanket of the First amendment, the right to free speech. I don't agree with this "security blanket", but once you start putting amendments to this, where do you stop?
I am sorry that your children has to see this.

You question is not that deep. You dismissed the most crucial argument with the phrase "fetus(not baby)".

Why do you allow 4 year olds to watch the news? I say this because if they were older than four the public school system would already have taught them "the differences in boys and girls".

So, have you thought how you will explain why partial-birth abortion is ok, or is that just too icky to think about.

I would never show such images myself, but then I would not burn the American flag or effigies of living persons either.

Answer Part I: War protesters are using those kinds of posters and if you haven't seen them or had to explain them to your children, be grateful.

Answer Part II: You had to explain those posters to your children because of the Freedom of Speech and Freedom to Peacably Assemble. You can't have freedoms without consequences. Would you rather be explaining to your children why they can't go anywhere in groups larger than 3 or 4, or why they would go to jail for expressing their opinion?

Freedom isn't Free. This is your price. Sorry, but that is reality.

Government dictates morals and ethics everyday. Government dictates that murder, rape, etc are immoral and punishable. They dictate that monopolies, scams, forgery, embezzlement, etc are unethical and punishable.

A dictatorship begins when ONE (1) person starts to make those decisions.

A fetus is a baby, media and liberals try and draw a distinction by using a different name- but they are one in the same. I am not particularly happy with the billboards of a dead fetus - it does seem a bit too much, on that we can agree.

On point 1: yes, you do see war protesters using graphic images. What about "Bush lied, they died"? Where the author of that message used the names of soldiers that were KIA in Iraq, against the wishes of the families of those soldiers?

On point 2: yes, they are inappropriate and doing that in public places can cause too much education for children.

Also consider, we legislate murder, which deals with morality, and I consider abortion murder, so yes laws should pertain to it. Without the Roe v. Wade ruling, abortion might very well be considered murder today. What about the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness entitled to the unborn?

Look at these 3 pictures. Including the one of the doll covered in blood and tell me that "peace" protesters don't use grisly images.

Your last paragraph brings into question the seeming objectivity you had going up to that point. So is it the graphic images of the protestors that bother you, or their idea of making it illegal? Two vastly different objections. You have to decide.
