I recently started playing an online game and whenever I play it my norton detects an intrusion attempt. Whats weird about that thou is it says that the intrusion attempt is being made by a computer with the same name as mine and since I know thats highly unlikely it must be my computer doing it. Why would norton detect activity that my computer is doing?

If the game includes an internet game play feature to let you play online opponents you may have it enabled. It would make your computer search online for opponents to pay with. Disable it.
