How do I play DOS games on WINDOWS XP?
I am not computer savy at all. WHY do they make this so difficult? I want to play NHL 93, an old PC game. So I downloaded the game and got a bunch of files I have no clue what to do with.

Then it says "use dosbox" so I downlaoded that, clicked on it, and it just vanished. WTF? Can someone give me a clue? *sigh* I'll never get to play this.

I thought I could help you with your problem, until you said "I downloaded it"

The download you got is most probably protected so that you can't just play it unless you pay the site for the key to unlock it.

So it wont matter what you do, unless you find out from the site what you have to do, you will never play it.
