You'll get a limited demo from the Adobe web site, if you want the full version you'll have to buy it.

Photoshop is a program that you have to buy. The professional version costs about $600. The consumer version costs about $200. You can't just go to download.com and download it. That would be illegal ... just like going to limewire.com and installing it and downloading a version of Photoshop would be illegal too.
There are a bunch of free photo editing programs available on line, though, some at download.com. You can try one of those. In addition, there are free copies of consumer versions of Photoshop included with most digital cameras. Ask your friends if they have one. And you can get a demo version from the Photoshop website (below). But if you need the actual Photoshop, be prepared to pay big bucks... or, you know...

First I would ask you if you are trying to get a free copy of photoshop or if you just want a viewer for files created in photoshop. You can get a free limited photoshop version in a number of places. And the viewer is availabel directly from adobe.com called Photoshop Album Starter Edition You can also get the limited editions of Adobe Photoshop by purchasing any number of image handler software/hardware etc. I got a copy of photoshop with my digital camera some time ago and it is a great tool.

It's not as powerful as photoshop, but it's free and can be augmented with plugins and extensions. These features make it the most advanced free photo-retouching software. GIMP can be used as a simple paint program or a complex image-manipulation software (thanks also to to a very advanced scripting interface)

Go to your local store and buy a copy? And if it is too expensive, you can buy photoshop elements or paint shop pro for much less. You probably don't need all the features in photoshop anyway.

the full version can be paid for and then downloaded and the demo can be downloaded at photoshop.com/ get cs3 beta and that is free :)
