My "tip" to you is to forget all about it... You are NOT an educated registered breeder and are probably doing this for all the wrong reasons... Money... Nuff said.. Sorry!

I think you did worse the second time. I have no idea what you are breeding?!?! Fish, snakes, worms, what?!!?

I'm sorry you don't care enough to be a responsible breeder and read books. I'm sorry for whatever you're breeding. My guess is they're too young. Wait until they get older and in the meanwhile READ and research. And become a responsible breeder - one which breeds to improve the breed of animal, not just for profit or kicks.

PLEASE!!

I'm not dowing you but if you haven't read up on breeding STOP NOW!

first read up on it!

then do realized that you make NO MONEY from breeding!

I've whelped 2 litters already and that was AFTER i spoke with many breeders and have them on call if i needed them. I went to countless sites checked out countless books on breeding and the breed(chihuahua)

Would you know what to do if she was in labor too long?
what if something goes wrong during a tie?
would you know what to do if a puppy died?

this happened to me with my last litter it's a good thing i had numbers to breeders and knew what to do to try and save the pup.

-if you don't know any of these answers then dont' breed!

here are some sites that i STUDIED before breeding

there's so much to know about you need to know about her temp, how to keep the puppies warm,

You may want to try to give them some privacy. She may not ready to accept the male yet either. Trust me when she is ready nothing will stop him from trying. I have heard that if this is the first time for the male then he may need help mounting her, but in my experience when she is for sure ready they usually figure it out on there own. My guess is that if they are just playing around that you need figure out what day heat she is in and realize she may not be ready. By the way the female will only accept the male starting anywhere from the 9th to the 12th day of the heat cycle depending on the dog.

Do you have any idea how many dogs and other animals are put to sleep in shelters every day because someone decided that it was their right to breed because the dogs were their property??
Stop what you are doing and get your animals spayed/neutered.

No times for books? Gimme a break!
Please be responsible and do not breed your dogs.
BTW, you might want to mention what kind of animal it is you are trying to breed. Don't expect people to research your history just to see what you are talking about.

what are you breeding?
some females like dogs wont let the male near her until the end of her heat, then shes all for it but not before.
