my best friend and i have a crush on this guy. i have liked him for about a year. he liked me last year. but know he doesnt. and i think he likes her now. i tried getting over him, but it doesnt work. she is soooo pretty and has a better chance with him then i do. they are not going out, but she is always talking about him infront of me. she always tells me that they talked on the phone for a hor last night or tells me what he says in the text messages. they sit next to each other in english class. she knows i like him, but since he likes her, she wont respect me and wants him to herself. what do i do?

You need to talk to your friend and let her know that this really bothers you because you like him and it hurts you to see them together. If she doesn't respect that and she continues on doing the same thing, then she really is not a true friend. Girls should never let a guy get in between them but sometimes it happens and when it does you know that the other person does not deserve your friendship. So forget about him if he doesn't like you and he's playing games with you and your friend, and if your friend doesn't stop doing what she's doing...it might be time to find a new best friend.

If your friend has a crush on someone she knows you have a crush on, and she is open about in front of you and all in your face about it.
Baby girl, she is not your friend it has little to do with it involving a guy, the fact is she has no respect for you and no regard for your feelings and when those two qualities are gone from a relationship then there is not point.

My younger sister and her best friend have a crush on the same guy the guy likes my sister but my sister decided that her friendship was more important than a guy she told her friend that its ok if she wants to go out wid him, the thing is his best friend likes my sisters friend but she doesn't even notice him. I guess what i am trying to say is stop looking for what you can't have but instead look right in front of you there is someone who will treasure you right in front of u if you know where to look.

well i dont think that is right at all!! your friend shouldnt do that to u its just wrong. the same thing happened to me and i tryed getting over the guy but it still didnt work. just try to move on and if she is a good friend and knows how u feel then she wont be a b***h about it.

You could bring it up in a polite way(know it's hard but two yelling girls isn't a pretty sight) and ket her know that you'd appreciate it if she'd stop flaunting it and if she's not reasonable about it then you 'll have to consider if it's worth it.
