I have what to some is considered adult acne. I had absolutely clear skin until I got pregnant and had my daughter, and ever since then I have had an "hormonal imbalance" as they call it. I have tried everything! Proactive, dermotologists and their many solutions - I have almost done it all. I now use Neutrogena make up, which doesn't get rid of it, but does seem to help. I have recently heard that Physicians Formula is even better, does anyone know if this is true?? I will one day get the lazer that supposedly takes it all away, but for now I need the best in make up for acne thats noncomedogenic. Do you know how Neutrogena and Physicians Formula compare? Is it worth changing over? If you use or have used either or both of these please let me know your opinion. Thank you.

It really will just depend on your skin and how it will react to each product. The best way is to try out the physician's Formula for a while, and then compare notes.

I've tried both, however, neither product helped my any acne I had. But everyone's skin is different. I can say, however, that Neutrogena liquid foundations are great, high-quality products. I loved using them when it was the make-up line I used (I have since switched to Origins). I still use Physician's Formua bronzer in the summer. They really do have the best powders.

It will just take time and trial and error. I know it's tough. It took me forever to find the right skin cleanser for me :)

i also got adult acne a couple months ago,and my dermatologist told me to use neutrogena. i haven't heard of physicians formula.i would be afraid to switch if your getting some improvement now. i also got an antibiotic and 2 face cream prescriptions. in two weeks it was nearly gone.i went for a free consultation about the laser treatments, and i was going to be charged $1800.00.when i asked my dermotoligst about it,he told me i could never have it done because i have very light skin,so be careful who you go to. hope this goes away soon for you. i am nearly fifty, and never had zits in school when everyone else did.it's very embarrassing at my age.i was ready to try anything!!!

I suggest you stick to what you are using now, switching back and forth so soon may cause even more damage. Try to stick with one thing for a while, maybe even a year- surely by then, you will kno whether it works for your skin or not, otherwise, everyone has a different skin- its hard to recommend something for you just because it worked for someone else, you know. I personally use Olay stuff.

Try to get a Physicians Formula. If you're an adult, and you still have acne.. there could be a problem.
