So i live in Las Vegas, and next week i'm having a friend fly out to stay with me. i know she's expecting it to be a BLAST, and i really have no idea how to show her a good time. i know of a few things here & there we could do, like go to all the nice shopping malls, restaurants, & things like the gondala ride @ venetian & some clubs. & we have tickets to a couple shows. but ultimately, i'm bad at planning things like this. does anyone have some ideas that would make this fun for both of us???
*is it better to PLAN the trip, or just have suggestions and see if she wants to do them?!!

These two sites have a lot of fun things to do, maybe something will catch your eye.

One of my favorite things to do.
I enjoy the outdoor cafe at Paris >Mon Ami Gabi, It's kind of nice to go there around sunset, have a glass of wine and watch the Fountains & people of course.

Shopping
You have to take her to the Forum Shops at Caesars

There are so many great nightclubs and restaurants to chose from. I would make suggestions, but let her pick what she wants to do.

Do things she can't do at home>Stratosphere Tower >Flyaway indoor Skydiving >Eiffel Tower >Manhattan Express(not that you can't ride a roller coaster just about anywhere, but ride one around a hotel that looks like the NY skyline?)

I know how you feel. I am constantly having friends/family fly out to Vegas and because I don't gamble and rarely go to the strip I never know what to show them.
All in all I would have to say don't plan it. See what she wants to do/see when she gets here. I can list some things that I did recently with friends and see if that helps:

Paymon's Hookah Lounge
Scenic Drive through Red Rock canyon
M&M World free 3D show
Fremont Street. Treat your friend to a friend twinkie and/or fried oreo at Mermaids. AMAZING.
Rock's Lounge at The Red Rock
