There is an 800 number for the nat'l transportation dept or something like that that you can call to complain.
It won't help you with your car but....
Contact a dealer and insist that they look up the problem in the bulletins released to dealers about problems with their cars that they don't tell the public (& tell them you've alreadyput in a complaint with the above).

it better be under warranty. ask about the parts they use, the brands, etc. You should specify what part your talking about and the type of car. If someone else is doing the repair, try someone else. If it's you, then buy another brand, maybe from another store. Make sure you're repairing it properly.

If the part is good, then you have a bigger problem somewhere else that is causing the part to go bad. For example, bad ball joints will ruin new brakes.

Next time it breaks go buy OEM instead of aftermarket. No sense in going after the store because they have no control over the quality of the part they are stocking, except to switch to a different brand for the same part. My dad and I have found that certain parts are better off being purchased OEM, such as motor mounts, bearings, and CV joints.

Could be coincidence. You didn't say what the problem and parts was nor how often this has happened. I mean if we are talking about 3 bulb burnouts over the last 3 years, that would be nothing.

If you have the receipts, and it involves the engine or drive train, then you may be able to use the Lemon Laws. Unfortunately, they vary from state to state. So you'll have to do some research on your part. Best of luck to you.

Find a new mechanic- obviously he's replacing the wrong part.
