It seems there's a lot to say about most decades, but when I look back at the 90's, it seems like I missed the boat. What can you think of about the 1990's that makes it stand out as special?

Grunge, apathy, anti-materialism, minimalism, 'heroin chic', indie bands, DIY music and zines.

Exactly that. Times were fairly good. We (in general) had faith in the economy and the future. The news wasn't reporting how many casualties there were that day due to an ongoing war. I think people were more hopeful.

It was the decade I was born in!
No seriously theres lots of stuff: Girl power, punk, furbies, tomacotchies (s.p?), Pokemon, yoga, the internet, DVDS, yup twas a good decade!

I HATE the '90s. They totally SUCKED!!!!

Here's what makes is unique...its utterly forgetable!!!!!!!!!!
