Not sure how old you are, so I don't know how well this may work. Try to explain to her that you are a different person than she is and you have a different view and could she consider it. She may be concerned about some of the ingredients - if so suggest going to a health food store - like whole foods to get a natural antiperspirant.
Try crystal deodorant - http://www.thecrystal.com/index.cfm
or Tom's of Maine - http://www.tomsofmaine.com/toms/product.asp?dept_id=500&pf_id=BW-ND.
or Weleda (wild rose, sage, citrus) -

Good luck.

Does she wear any? There are some natural types at the drug store. If she won't let you buy it, ask another family member for help. You shouldn't have to feel embarrassed just because your mom doesn't believe in deodorant.

It may be unhealthy in her opinion but the alternative leaves you feeling really uncomfortable. Ask her to understand that it is a comfort issue.

I would suggest going with a deodorant and not an antiperspirant. Your mom will probably go for that idea best! And if the deodorant doesn't work as well as you want it to, then you could try and talk to her about antiperspirants!

Tell her that you respect her beliefs but you are uncomfortable sweating all the time and that you are feeling self concious.

Buy one from your pocket money and show it to her and explain the actual purpose and the advantages. She will take it.
