Do I have to buy "Sims 2" only first if I want Sims 2 nightlife??

yup...you need sims2 "original"...then Sims2 univercity...then sims2 nightlife......
if you want...you can also buy then sims2 opening for business....and there is a new one...but I dont remmember it's name....
I havent play it in about 2 years...but my friend still play it evryday

yes Sims 2 is the main game nightlife is just an expansion

yes u need Sims 2 before u can install nightlife or any other expansion packs.

yeah.....u need either plain old sims 2, sims 2 holiday edition, or sims 2 pc dvd to add on expansion packs like nightlife, open for business, seasons, pets, so on and so forth

Yes, you need the sim2 or "The Sims2 Holiday Edition" to add ANY of the expansion packs.
