After years of torture and silence, he 'confesses to a tribunal'
Among the other terror plots he confessed to during the waterboarding was the shooting of Abraham Lincoln, the downing of the Hindenburg, both space shuttles, the Great Chicago Fire, and the San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.

Well he might as well have done, still time to empty that concentration camp in Cuba now I guess, case closed, we got the bad guy, all over, bring the troops home etc etc (Iraq of course not connected with 911)

Perry L, you are bang on
Lus28, yes, good film
Tex Ritter and silkstocking, you are shills
Elizabeth? wow, its funny, all the crimes he has 'confessed' to have been blamed on others before they died, Bin Laden, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, etc, now we are being treated to a 1984 style rewrite, and you guys and gals are still blinded by your fear that your Government is lying to you, a fear so great you refuse to accept it

UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE (pardon my French)...I have seen "talking heads" with their Pentagon supplied scripts using the"confession" to reinforce the "Global War on Terror". They are saying that since this guy was plotting all of these attacks worldwide that proves we are fighting a global terror network. People are already saying this disproves all of the"conspiracy theorists"...when in fact it drives their point home.

If anything, it demonstrates the rather worrying lack of journalistic integrity in today's news media. I've seen many reports on the subject now, and not one has mentioned any evidence that this guy was involved.

Last time I checked, a confession needed to be backed up with some evidence.

What I find amazing is that anyone still believes the conspiracy theorists. It has always been known this man was involved with Bin Laden and with a series of terror attacks. It has long been known he personally beheaded Pearl and yet the lunatic fringe still will not accept any proof because it does not fit in with their warped world view. He has confessed and that is that. He killed American citizens and given half a chance he would kill all those who defend him as quickly as he would kill those who don't. Don't you get it? He hates you as much as every other American. If he got the chance he would chop your head off too.

Wag the dog ..Wag the dog

You are the third person to ask this today.. and I will keep on saying the same thing..

Whoever believes in this confession, might as well believe in the Easter bunny, Santa Claus and that pigs can fly.
The Bush Administration is desperate at this is point.

Some people think that he did that because of his big ego (an FBI agent said that)! But this (war against terror) still has a long trip to do!
