Take art classes at school or college. Or take drafting courses, if you want be an architect.

With practice and a real good passion for it. You can check in your local library for drawing books and find out about certain tips and techniques that can illustrated short cuts to certain common type of figures, different angles or positions and even shadows. Be patient and as long as you enjoy it, you'll discover the true meaning of drawing, spiritual fulfillment.

Was up Ina... I happen to be a animae artist, though... i am not sure if that's the kind of drawing you want to learn. I learned by buying books and trying to draw the pictures in it.

i think that you could take lessons from your friends, or a professionall
or you could draw one thing over and over again until it looks like the real thing, you have to give it variety, like a flower in a vase, the vase has smooth curves and is symmetrical, but the flower could be a rose, those are complicated, but it has more detail and don't forget shading
oh and you can' get books that teach you how if you wanna learn on your own

I have pretty good artistic skills, but I taught myself to draw. You could try step by step sketch diarys, or take art classes.
You have to remember to have fun with it, or it won't come to you.
