I'm talking about the performance this past Tuesday by Haley when after she was done she was getting ripped by Paula and the other judge with glasses. Then you can see Haley's face ready for more punishment but then Simon surprised everyone by saying "I didn't think it was that bad."
I thought that was one of the most noble thing a human being can do to another human being. I think Simon just paved his way to heaven.

yea...what i realized watching that show is that simon likes Humbleness... and haley showed that when she knew that she didn't do well and forgot the words. a lot of people on AI go "well the audience loves me", or has attitude, and haley was really gracious about it, and i think simon felt that she had a lot of potential and likability despite her mess ups.... sure it doesn't hurt that she's pretty too, but simon is very No Nonsense, business like, and can tell that she has a personality & looks and voice...

People might not like his heavy fisted opinions, but at least he is honest. He is direct and constructive. If these people want to be in the spot light then they need to have thick skin. Sorry, but that is todays society. Even in the real world and a real job you have to be able to take negative feedback. Simon is not mean, just direct and very matter of fact. I think most people would agree that it is better than a sugar coated, phoney comment like Paula after every contestant. She on the other hand always seeks for the positive. In this type of competitiion, it is a balance, but Simon's remarks are the real world.

I totally agree! He really did pave his way to heaven. It really proves that he is a nice guy. I mean Haley knew she did really bad and Simon was truth full but nice.

i admire Simon It unlike he desires to work out Haley circulate, yet whats going to take place, i think of Phil might domicile circulate too, after what he mentioned " Sons Stuff Toy is SIMON COW" undesirable good fortune My acquaintances.

I think he didnt want her to start bawling on stage. I was surprised those words came out of Simon...Paula's drugs must've worn off so she was angry and thats why she didnt say something nice
Oh and I totally agree with the first answer....stop touching ur chest Simon, and start touching mine....lol

Simon is a pompus, self centered, self serving jackass. He humiliates people to make money and the public eats it up. He's a sick SOB that like to get his picture taken with some starving kids for his fans, and then tears people apart for not being up to his standards. He looks for the bad ones just to make a show. And some of those people are starving, too. Don't grant him sainthood yet. I think he may be headed the other direction when he's dead. I think the public that supports him are a bunch of sick SOB's, too.

it was good of him. I like Simon, he is totally honest and doesn't beat around the bush. I like that. He is a little brutal sometimes, but the music industry is brutal so these contestants need to get used to it.
